In 2023, Dewanbegi Clinic performed very effective activities in terms of providing health services, as in previous years. In 2023, the number of patients in our clinic increased by more than 3%, reaching 41,543, compared to the year before. There has been an increase in the number of patients in all departments.
The number of patients who refer to the clinic from Dewnbegi area and nearby areas regularly is growing as a result of the excellent performance of our clinic’s departments in serving the local patients. The clinic has 130 patients a day on average, compared to 120 in 2022.
Last year, very important and valuable activities took place at Dewanbegi Clinic. Here, we briefly mention some examples.
– Last year, we were able to increase the area of the clinic and transfer some parts of the clinic from the A block to the B block.
In the new building of Dewanbegi Clinic, we moved the pediatric, vaccination, and malnutrition departments.
– We have prepared a very well-equipped and ready-to-use training room for clinic training in the new block. In this training room, we conduct the same series of previous trainings that were conducted by domestic and foreign doctors to improve the capacity of doctors, nurses, and clinic employees in person and online. We also hold our morning meetings in this room.
– With the expansion of the area in our clinic, we also bought new machines for the gynecological department. So that the sick is well diagnosed, and the births take place here in the right and healthy way.
– At the same time, the previous office of our administrative staff was also moved to a new building, and with these transfers and the new relocation, we found more space in the clinic. In addition to having other departments, we currently expect separate waiting rooms for men and women, separate dental units for men and women, and a well-equipped women’s examination and maternity room for women in our first building. Previously, we could not have separate sections for men and women due to a lack of space.
In the new building of Dewanbegi Clinic, we are equipped with cupboards, cooking utensils, and toilets and with the merger of both buildings, the working space in the clinic is enlarged, and high-quality medical and health services are provided to the patients as soon as possible.
– Fortunately, we were able to activate the culture department in the clinic in 2023. This department, equipped with medical machines, can cultivate microbes that can diagnose diseases for clinic patients. Microbial culture is one of the primary diagnostic methods of microbiology and is used as a tool to determine the cause of infectious disease by letting the agent multiply in a predetermined medium.
– The clinic is currently run by a physician/internist, a pediatrician, male and female dentists, an obstetrics/gynecology specialist, and midwives by having the following departments:
- Internal Medicine
- Pediatrics
- Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Family Planning
- Ultrasound
- Dental Department
- Orthopedics
- Laboratory
- Minor Surgery/Nursing
- Pharmacy
- Vaccine
- Malnutrition
- Neurology & Psychological Counselling
- Training and Public Awareness
The clinic offers continuous and quality healthcare services to patients, especially women, children, and the elderly, of which more than 90% of the Dewanbegi population is poor and blue-collar.
